Provisional Entries have been received for the 8
th
Club Crew World Championships (CCWC) from
over 300 Crews from 20 Countries, namely, Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Ghana,
Great Britain, Hong Kong, Hungary, Korea, Malaysia, Macau, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia,
Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago, UAE, and USA.
Entries are also expected or possible from China, Chinese Taipei, France, Indonesia, Japan and
Thailand. The total number of participants notified in the Provisional Entries is nearly 4500.
With four months to go, now is the time for you to confirm your Club Crew’s entry.
Information about the deadlines for accommodation, transport and fees is shown in this Bulletin. Please
submit forms and information by the closing dates shown. For Official Accommodation Packages see

Venue and Race Course
Racing will take place on Victoria Harbour Racing Course, East Tsim Sha Tsui, where the modern era of
the Sport began in 1976 with the Hong Kong International Races and where the IDBF was founded in
1991. Hong Kong 2012 will therefore celebrate the 36
th
Anniversary of the HK International Dragon
Boat Races and the 21
st
Anniversary of the founding of the IDBF.
Competition Regulation and Racing Rules
The Hong Kong 2012 CCWC will comply with the IDBF Competition Regulations and will be conducted
under the IDBF Rules of Racing, copies of which will be circulated to crews with this Information Bulletin.
Information Bulletin No.3 requesting final Named Entries will be published at a later date.
All participating club crews are required to submit their Confirmed Entry by 1st APRIL 2012.
ONLINE REGISTRATION:
Clubs will be expected to submit their Confirmed Entries on-line at www.idbfworldchamps.com.
Entries may be made by email on the Confirmed Entry Form enclosed to ccwcentry@idbf.org.
All administrative returns must go to the Hong Kong Organizing Committee at hkdba@hkolympic.org
